Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:
Must be ARRT registered. Mammography license or certification required. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field preferred. Minimum of one year of experience in mammography is ideal. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols. Excellent computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain mammography equipment for accurate X-ray imaging. Position and prepare patients for optimal image acquisition while ensuring comfort. Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols. Evaluate mammography images for quality and make necessary adjustments. Maintain detailed patient records and documentation. Promote breast health awareness through patient education on screenings.
