Responsibilities
Collaborate with a variety of technical leaders across the whole organization, including Data Scientists and Enterprise Data Governance, to define and create a shared vision for implementing and delivering innovative data solutions.
Provide technical leadership in terms of architecting applications and making strategic technology decisions.
Perform complex application design in the latest techniques and technologies, such as Amazon Web Services, Elasticsearch, React user interfaces, Python scripting, machine learning, relational and graph databases, REST API endpoints and GraphQL.
Work with AI generated data and incorporate it into application to provide value to end users.
Apply expertise and research designs, collaborating with subject matter experts, to devise requirements, design specifications, and usage criteria for enterprise solutions.
Ensure adherence to business direction, architectural strategies, and enterprise technology standards.
Hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related field and 5 years of experience. Alternative: Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
Experience with healthcare domain.
Creating Python ETL scripts for data pipelines.
Creating REST API integrations for data movement.
Experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL, Graph databases.
DevOps best practices covering code deployment, CI/CD and Agile delivery.
Gathering and analyzing project requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
Designing, developing, and implementing Python standalone applications.
Integrating Python standalone applications with Hadoop ecosystem tools.
Incorporating RESTful API interactions to ensure comprehensive data processing and accessibility.
Developing unit and functional test cases in Python.
Designing, developing and implementing robust and scalable ETL processes to extract structured and semi‑structured data from various RDBMS.
Developing, implementing, and supporting XML‑based data migration workflows.
Refactoring existing code, reducing code complexity and enhancing code readability; conducting code reviews.
Developing and supporting deployed CI/CD pipelines.
Providing support to deployed applications within a Production environment.
Analyzing issues, conducting research, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal application performance and reliability.
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $146,806–$167,100 per year. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
Benefits include medical, vision, dental, well‑being and behavioral health programs, 401(k), company‑paid life insurance, tuition reimbursement, a minimum of 18 days of paid time off per year and paid holidays.
Hardware requirement: For those working from home, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
