Sr. Operations Program Manager, Product Operations - Kindle

The Product Operations group is seeking a Senior Operations Program Manager who is excited to work on product that our customers love. We play a critical role in the hardware development process, from pre-concept to launch. Our team ensures successful product launches and ongoing support, enhances the capabilities of our current systems to meet our needs, and drives continuous improvement for the company.

As a Senior Operations Program Manager, you will collaborate with an experienced, cross-disciplinary team to conceive, design, and develop innovative consumer products. You must be responsive, flexible, and capable of thriving in an open, collaborative peer environment.

This role is focused on pre-concept engagement with Product Management and Engineering to align on our roadmap and engagement model for our next generations products. This responsibility also spans through the product life, if product-line level operations re-engagement is required.

Key job responsibilities in this role include:

• Deliver results on complex projects involving cross functional teams across the company
• Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and product definition
• Contribute to and influence new product design and architecture
• Understand current system capabilities and limitations
• Problem solve and explore solutions to current processes and systems
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to deliver a quality product on time and at cost
• This role requires some international travel to suppliers

• Engage with Industrial Design, Engineering, and Product Management teams to understand the product design language, roadmap, and Product Management strategy
