Facility Maintenance Coordinator M/F
MissionsReporting to the US Transformation Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of workplace facilities through coordination of maintenance activities, contractors, workplace services, office operations support, and compliance-related activities.
Roles and responsibilities:
Maintaining buildings in operational condition
o Develop sufficient understanding of site infrastructure and technical installations to effectively coordinate maintenance activities
o Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues and requests
o Assess reported issues and determine appropriate corrective actions and escalation paths
o Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers during corrective and preventive interventions
o Track facility issues through completion and ensure satisfactory resolution
Protection of people and assets at Quipment Inc
o Coordinate the implementation of safety, security, and facility compliance requirements with guidance from HQ and external specialists; escalate gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives
o Perform routine internal safety audits and maintain associated records and action tracking
o Provide and/or organize HSE training activities (onboarding and new procedures)
o Manage PPE inventory
o Proactively identify problems, escalate appropriately and propose solutions
o Coordinate external assessment of safety and ergonomics analysis of workstations and equipment, and execute recommendations
o Ensure monitoring and record management of environmental control systems (temperature, air and surface analysis, pest control, etc.)
o Coordinate preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and recurring facility services
o Collect, review, and maintain contractor reports, certifications, and service documentation
o Maintain schedules, trackers, records, and documentation supporting maintenance, audits, inspections, corrective actions, compliance activities, and process standardization
Office Operations & General Services Support
o Assist the Facilities Manager in executing general services activities (management of energy indicators, management of material handling equipment fleet, waste management, cleaning services etc.)
o Be a back up to our Procurement for office supplies and workplace consumables
Projects, Workplace Changes & Relocation Support
o Support facility-related projects, workplace improvements, and office modifications through coordination of vendors, logistics, scheduling, and move execution activities
Consolidation Formalization
o Participate in drafting working methods within the scope of responsibility
o Collaborate with other Technical Service Centers and HQ to harmonize and explain implemented rules
o Participate in monitoring and updating technical and quality documentation
ProfilYour Profile:
Technical background is preferred for this position
Experience in facilities, operations, office coordination, or related fields preferred
Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated environments is a plus
Ability to work independently and proactively
Proficient with computer systems and standard business software
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, detail-oriented, rigorous
Additional languages are a plus (French preferred)
