Leading high-impact electrical design work for utility-scale PV Solar and Battery Storage projects, the full-time Electrical Design Engineer III will create engineering plans and design drawings while collaborating with a mission-driven team in a remote environment. Key responsibilities
Create electrical engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects Independently provide design drawings and equipment specifications for PV solar modules, inverters, and battery energy storage systems Ensure compliance with safety standards and mentor staff engineers while managing multiple projects
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field with extensive electrical coursework 5+ years of experience in an electrical engineering design role 2+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy system design engineering Advanced skills in AutoCAD Familiarity with the NEC and relevant codes and standards
