Overview Explore an opportunity in our ICE Data Services Desktop Solutions group as an Associate Business Analyst. The selected candidate will work with the Product Management team based in New York, in defining, prioritizing, planning, and executing the vision for our desktop applications targeting our core ICE Data Services Customers. The Desktop Solutions product offerings are global in scope and serve a broad section of the financial services industry. Responsibilities Business & Product Strategy Collaborate with stakeholders to define business goals and product vision. Identify opportunities for process improvements and product enhancements. Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product direction. Requirements Gathering & Analysis Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to refine requirements. Collaboration & Communication Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams. Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure user‑centric solutions. Facilitate communication between technical and non‑technical teams. Process Improvement & Optimization Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements. Support Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, in product development. Assist in backlog prioritization and sprint planning with product owners. Data & Performance Analysis Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for software products. Conduct data analysis to support decision‑making and feature prioritization. Use business intelligence tools to generate insights and reports. Testing & Quality Assurance Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios and criteria. Validate that software meets business and functional requirements. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing coverage. Stakeholder & Change Management Manage expectations and align stakeholders on project scope and deliverables. Support change management efforts and user adoption strategies. Provide training and documentation for end‑users and stakeholders. Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems and/or Computer Science (or foreign equivalent) Knowledge of financial markets (3+ years of experience); futures and energy markets a plus Previous experience as a Business Analyst or experience with CRM or entitlement functions desired Requirements elicitation and documentation a must Able to create mockups/wireframes Great communication skills Must be able to supervise, organize, prioritize workload and work on numerous projects/tasks at one time Familiar with waterfall and agile methodologies Attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills Ability to work with technical teams (QA and development) as well as sales and end users Proactive and able to take initiative Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Software: Jira and Figma (or other wireframing tool) Desire to work in both data/content and functionality projects New York Base Salary Range The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $65,000 – $85,000 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
