Cicero Animal Clinic is looking for a skilled, experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician who is ready to hit the ground running, take ownership of their role, and contribute to a team that takes both medicine and culture seriously. What You'll Do:
- Perform treatments and outpatient procedures with confidence and autonomy
- Provide safe and effective sedation for routine and outpatient needs
- Lead and support anesthesia monitoring through surgical caseloads
- Run diagnostic laboratory equipment and interpret in-house results
- Drive client education and communication with clarity and compassion
- Contribute to an organized, efficient treatment floor while mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care
Our LVTs have real responsibility, real autonomy, and real room to grow.
Schedule: This is a full-time position with availability needed Monday-Friday only - NO weekends! You'd typically work one closing shift per week (until 8:30 PM).
Compensation & Benefits
- $25 - 27 per hour, based on experience and skillset
- $2,000 bonus package
- CE allowance: $500 first year, $1,000 annually thereafter

Minimum qualifications and skill set
- 2+ years of veterinary technician experience in a clinical setting
- Active, good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician license in the state of New York required
- Proficient clinical skills including:
- Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Phlebotomy and IV catheter placement
- Cytology and in-house laboratory diagnostics
- Confident, independent performance of outpatient procedures and treatments
- Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
