Technical Business Analyst (Hybrid Position) Job Category: Client Services Requisition Number: TECHN001084 Posted: June 26, 2026 Full-Time Remote Oxford, MS 38655, USA Description The Technical Business Analyst leads technical communication and design efforts with clients as well as creating detailed business and functional documentation for the development and implementation of mTrade software solutions. The successful candidate will work with our engineers to enhance our proprietary software applications. The Technical Business Analyst is a primary technical point of contact for our clients, so precision in communication and strong listening skills are essential, as well as a high degree of professionalism and discernment. This position serves as the crucial link between mTrade's clients and our development team of software engineers, test engineers, and test analysts. The candidate will play a pivotal role in understanding and translating our clients' business needs into technical requirements, enabling us to develop and enhance our software products. Principal Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for technical issues and software enhancement needs Guide users in formulating software enhancement requirements and share updates on new or revised modifications Use proprietary software to design and reconfigure bespoke client experiences Work closely with the development team to implement creative solutions via the SDLC process Provide relevant material to the development and test teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements and data integrity is consistently maintained Provide technical analysis and troubleshooting assistance for clients
Traditionally, this role has been successfully filled by candidates who enjoy translating languages (including computer languages and business jargon), and who have the ability to context-switch within their role. Skills Some Knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite Agile Project Management Education Required: Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field. Preferred: Bachelors or better. Experience Required: 2 years: • In-depth knowledge of Transact-SQL • Proficiency with Microsoft ASP.NET client-server technologies • Ability to develop documentation using UML design concepts • Solid understanding of database design and ability to read and write complex SQL statements, Stored procedures • Experience working adjacent to a lock desk or other time-sensitive environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Project and Visio 3 years: Technical business analysis in a complex software delivery environment Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
