Position Summary Assists in the development of large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data that helps generate insights and address reporting needs. Responsibilities Applies understanding of key business drivers to accomplish own work. Uses expertise, judgment, and precedents to contribute to the resolution of moderately complex problems. Leads portions of initiatives of limited scope, with guidance and direction. Writes ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, designs database systems, and develops tools for real‑time and offline analytic processing. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes. Uses knowledge of cloud data platforms and experience designing and optimizing SQL queries to build data pipelines. Uses programming skills in Python and SQL to build robust data pipelines and scalable systems. Builds data marts and data models to support internal customers and downstream applications. Integrates data from a variety of sources, ensuring they adhere to data quality and accessibility standards. Required Qualifications 1+ year(s) of experience in a data engineering, analytics engineering, or related role. Experience writing SQL for data transformation and analysis. Experience with Python for data processing or pipeline development. Exposure to at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure). Experience with version control using Git. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Spanner). Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow. Ability to troubleshoot data quality issues and communicate findings clearly. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on well‑scoped tasks. Curiosity about healthcare data and willingness to learn domain‑specific concepts. Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum team environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related discipline. Compensation and Benefits The typical pay range for this role is $79,310.00 - $173,040.00, based on experience, education, geography and other factors. This full‑time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; retirement savings options; wellness programs; and other resources.
