Lacamas Creek Post Acute is seeking a detail oriented and organized
Medical Records Assistant
to join our team on a part time basis. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate resident medical records while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and confidentiality standards.
Pay
$19.29 to $24.11 per hour, based on experience
Schedule

Responsibilities
Maintain and organize resident medical records in both electronic and paper formats
Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date
Process admissions, discharges, and transfers related to medical records
File, scan, and retrieve documents as needed
Protect resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Assist with medical record audits and regulatory compliance
Respond to requests for medical records in accordance with facility policies
Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff
Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous medical records or healthcare administrative experience preferred
Knowledge of HIPAA and medical records procedures preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
