As a Tax Analyst (m/f/d) you will be responsible for managing local and international tax matters for the DACH market unit, ensuring compliance with PepsiCo's global tax standards and supporting the optimization of tax-related processes. You will act as a key advisor on tax implications of business changes, coordinate statutory and tax audits, oversee statutory reporting activities, and collaborate closely with external tax advisors on corporate tax and VAT matters.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage local and international tax topics across the DACH market unit.
- Lead tax reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely submissions and compliance.
- Coordinate statutory accounts, tax audits, and relationships with external tax advisors.
- Provide expert guidance on tax implications of new business models, processes, and organizational changes.
- Ensure compliance with PepsiCo Global Control Standards, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to optimize tax processes and reporting.
- Support and develop finance and accounting stakeholders through training, coaching, and best-practice sharing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in accounting and tax
- Very good knowledge in accounting (US GAAP and HGB)
- Very good knowledge in VAT
- Understanding of operational processes of an industrial company - preferred FMCG
- Strong knowledge of SAP and MS Office (esp. Excel)
- Strong process-oriented mindset with the ability to optimize existing procedures
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and German
- Experience in a multinational environment is advantageous.
