Are you an IT, Network, Infrastructure or Field Engineer looking for your first step into Project Management?
Our client is looking for a technically minded Project Coordinator to help deliver hotel technology projects across the UK and Ireland. You'll receive support from experienced Project Managers and technical specialists while developing your own projects and career.
*No previous Project Manager experience is required.*
_*About the role*_
* Coordinate hotel technology installation and upgrade projects.
* Work with customers, engineers, suppliers and the sales team.
* Plan project activities and schedules.
* Monitor progress and keep customers informed.
* Visit customer sites from survey through to project handover.
* Take ownership of your own projects while supporting the wider Project Management team.
_*Travel*_
This is a home-based role with regular travel throughout the UK and occasional travel to Ireland.
Some Ireland visits may be Monday to Friday to allow multiple customer visits during one trip.
All travel is planned in advance.
_*We're looking for someone with*_
* Experience in IT infrastructure, networking or technical installations.
* Customer-facing experience.
* Good planning, organisation and communication skills.
* A positive attitude and the confidence to communicate project progress, risks and delays.
* A full UK driving licence.
If you are below the minimum age covered by the company's vehicle insurance policy, you must be willing to use your own vehicle for business travel until you become eligible.
_*Desirable*_
Experience with one or more of the following:
* Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus or Meraki
* Wi-Fi, VoWi-Fi or VoIP
* 3CX, IPTV or Casting technologies
* Structured cabling
* Hospitality or hotel technology
* Coordinating engineers or installations
What you'll receive
* £35,000-£40,000 salary.
* Company car (subject to company policy).
* Home-based role.
* All approved business travel expenses, including rail and air travel where appropriate, paid by the company.
* Mentoring from experienced Project Managers.
* Ongoing support from an experienced technical team.
* Financial support for relevant training and professional development, subject to company policy.

Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship or any other employer sponsorship for this position.
*Location*
Candidates should ideally live within the South East, Midlands or surrounding areas with good access to the motorway network. Occasional meetings are held at the client office or in London.
