Experience: • 24 months of experience worked in the last 12 months. • High School completion preferred. Requirements: • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health. Additional Details: Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous experience working in the Operating Room or Endoscopy Unit preferred. GI Tech experience preferred. Preferred Credentials: GI certification from SGNA Associates preferred. Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained. Unit Details: Ambulatory endoscopy setting. Assists with the coordination of care for patients in the endoscopy department. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies and may assist in performing invasive endoscopic procedures. Provides various service-related activities to the delivery of direct and assistive patient care in the endoscopy service of the operating room prior to and during any endoscopic procedure. Establishing and maintaining sterile fields, pulling cases, and assisting with endoscopy procedures. Knowledge of sterilization concepts and methods, aseptic techniques, and endoscopy instruments. Typically 30 cases per day. Shift & Scheduling: Start time varies 6A-8A based on caseload. Required to rotate shifts and accept on-call assignments. 7 days maximum time off 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years Proof of identification required Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support) • CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C Skills Checklist: Yes References: Yes Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support Job Details Job Type: Travel Nurse/Patient: – – Shift Type: Day Contract Date: 2026-07-27 Expected Length: 13 weeks Hours per Shift: 10 Shifts per Week: 4
