The Role

We're looking for a Fiber Splicing Manager to oversee fiber splicing operations across projects leading splicing teams, managing subcontractors, and providing the technical expertise to keep work on safe, accurate, and on schedule.

What You'll Do

- Maintain expert-level knowledge of all Fiber Splicer duties and responsibilities

- Lead and manage splicing teams: hiring, training, and performance evaluations

- Oversee subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely and to standard

- Provide daily updates to Project Managers on progress and forecasts

- Track productivity, labor, and material usage while maintaining project budgets

- Provide technical guidance on complex fiber issues; perform hands-on splicing during critical outages

- Review and QC OTDR and power meter test results

- Maintain accurate daily updates in Fieldwire (QC, photos, splicing records)

- Provide customer documentation including as-builts and fiber matrices

- Lead job safety efforts and enforce OSHA / company safety protocols

Working Conditions

Outdoor, physical role with travel across markets (1050%). After-hours and emergency repair work as needed.
