We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented care professional to provide high-quality assistance to clients in their homes. In this role, you will support individuals with daily living activities, promote comfort and safety, and help maintain a clean, organized, and respectful home environment. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to delivering care with dignity and professionalism. Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support as needed. Provide support with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and light housekeeping tasks. Offer companionship and encourage engagement in daily routines and activities. Remind clients to take medications as directed, when appropriate and within scope of role. Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor. Support a safe living environment by following care plans, safety procedures, and infection control practices. Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation support as assigned. Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner, according to agency or employer guidelines.
Qualifications
Previous experience in home care, personal care, or a related caregiving role is preferred. Completion of required HHA/PCA training or certification, if applicable to the role and location. Ability to provide respectful, person-centered care to individuals with varying needs. Strong communication, observation, and time-management skills. Ability to follow care plans, directions, and established procedures. Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Physical ability to perform duties that may include standing, lifting, bending, and assisting with transfers.
