About the Position
We are looking for
CDL Class A Drivers based out of Harvard, Illinois . The work is considered
light-touch freight
with
driver-assist unload . Drivers should be comfortable using a
manual pallet jack
and/or
lift gate
when needed. Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate:
$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
5-6 days per week
Shift:
Approximately 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Deliver freight to retail locations using automatic equipment
Assist with unloading freight in a professional manner
Communicate effectively with store personnel and Ryder / True Value site contacts
Potentially 3 - 4 layovers per week depending on route
Minimum Requirements
6-12 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
Valid CDL Class A license
Comfortable using a manual pallet jack and/or lift gate
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
