Riada are recruiting a Cook to join a busy catering team within a healthcare setting in Ballycastle.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with catering or kitchen experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality food and maintaining exceptional hygiene standards. You'll play an important role in supporting patients, staff, and visitors by helping to provide a safe, efficient, and welcoming catering service.

​ What You'll Be Doing: 

• Preparing and cooking meals in line with menus and dietary requirements
• Serving food and beverages to patients and staff
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
• Following food safety regulations and HACCP procedures
• Assisting with stock control, storage, and food rotation
• Working closely with the wider catering team to ensure a smooth service

What We're Looking For: 

• Previous experience in a catering, kitchen, or food preparation environment
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and COSHH (or willingness to obtain)
• Understanding of Manual Handling, Infection Prevention & Control, and Fire Safety procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and organisational skills
