Essential Functions
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to shape end-to-end solution architecture for our Enterprise Timekeeping and HCM applications, including UKG/Kronos platforms.
Explore and document current-state architecture across interconnected systems, helping the team identify thoughtful paths toward future-state designs.
Dive into existing codebases to build a clear understanding of how systems work — tracing data flows, recognizing patterns, and surfacing key architectural decisions.
Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) as a natural part of your daily workflow — to make sense of unfamiliar code, draft documentation, and move implementation forward more efficiently.
Help ensure AI-assisted outputs are validated against enterprise needs including security, compliance, and performance.
Support migration planning and provide technical guidance across active transformation initiatives.
Mentor and support colleagues in less senior positions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience with UKG and Kronos systems, and solution architecture across enterprise applications — ideally in HCM, payroll, or timekeeping, though adjacent domains are welcome.
Comfortable using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) as part of your everyday workflow for learning, building, and documenting.
Willingness to be hands-on with code — this role goes beyond diagrams and planning.
Strong communicator who can connect with business stakeholders, vendor teams, and developers.
General knowledge of hardware, software, and network architecture.
Collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement.
