In the role of Talent Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in scaling the human data engine that supports frontier AI systems. This position focuses on managing onboarding, talent activation, and client success for high-velocity AI training deployments, ensuring seamless operations at the intersection of data, operators, and enterprise delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Run large-cohort onboarding at scale, ensuring processes are fast, clean, and efficient.
- Activate and manage distributed talent pools that power AI training and data operations.
- Build and maintain high-trust relationships with enterprise clients.
- Anticipate potential blockers and resolve issues with speed and clarity.
- Drive customer success outcomes across ongoing AI deployments.
- Publish weekly performance and milestone reports that are clear and actionable.
- Host community syncs and engagement rituals to keep operators engaged and effective.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align talent operations with evolving model and client needs.
- Continuously refine onboarding, quality assurance, and retention systems using data-driven insights.
- Exceptional written communication skills, characterized by clarity, structure, and directness.
- Proven experience operating in remote, distributed environments.
- Strong ownership mindset, you take full responsibility for outcomes.
- Ability to lead 100+ contributors while maintaining effective communication.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, high velocity, and constant iteration.
- Data-fluent, with experience in dashboards, KPIs, and performance diagnostics.
- Experience in Human Data, Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), and AI training pipelines.
- Background working with enterprise AI or technical clients.
- Experience building or scaling data operations or talent operations systems.
- Familiarity with modern tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), analytics, project operations, and automation.
This is a full-time remote position.
CompensationThe compensation for this role ranges from $70, 000 to $110, 000 annually. All employees are eligible for equity compensation and may receive performance-based bonuses, subject to company policies.
