Responsibilities
Performs inspections and testsin accordance withestablished procedures. Inspections and tests include mechanical, dimensional, document review, receipt, visual, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrate, ultrasonic, leaktestingand material verification. Operation, setup,calibrationand maintenance of associated equipment and instrumentation. Must be capable of providing oversight and discipline-specific guidance to Level I personnel. Evaluate and report inspection and test results. Will berequiredto adhere to all safety procedures andmaintainwork areas in a clean and orderly manner, in addition to various assigned responsibilities. Responsible forobservingandcomplying withall safety and project rules. Performs other duties and activities asrequired. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Works under minimum supervision. Typicallyreports to a supervisor. Education
Two years of related experience in equivalent inspection or testingactivities;or high schoolgraduate. 6 months of related experience in equivalent inspection or testingactivities;or completion of college level work leading to an associate degree in a related discipline. 3 months of related experience in equivalent inspection or testing activities. Physical Requirements
Ability to reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear,seeandto performrepetitive motions. Ability to reach with hands or arms, stand, walk, use hands or fingers, grip, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see,climb,or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl andto performrepetitive motions. Ability to sit at a desk andoperatea computerfor extended periods of time. The ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis isrequiredand at timesliftingto 25 lbs. may berequired.
