For our Selection Commitee group we are looking for a
The Position
- Development of software tools for analysis of measurement data from the photon diagnostic devices.
- Support data analysis with the objective of characterizing the X-ray beam and calculate SASE spectral information based on the acquired data.
- Support group with hardware and cable assembly.
- Active participation in the commissioning and beamtimes with the photon diagnostics group.
- Supporting various development activities in the photon diagnostics lab.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master Degree program in physics, computer science, engineering or similar discipline.
- Capable of writing computer programs for data processing and analysis. Experience in Python language.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. German language is not required.
- Strong communication skills and interest in working in a collaborative environment
- Knowledge about analogue electronics and/or micro-controller programming would be an asset.
