General tasks include Supervising employees, Communicating with and helping customers and carrying out directives given by the manager and the store owner.
Review staff performance and offer constructive feedback Collaborate with team leads on setting and achieving team-specific goals Be a committed team player and take responsibility for teams actions Display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal Write sales and customer reports and make recommendations for improvements Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances Assist store manager with essential store functions, i.e.
store accounting, daily invoice checking, ordering stock Maintain proper inventory controls, facilitate inventory transaction Keep daily records of store sales, damages, deposit log, scheduling, employee discount and new hire paperwork Cover Managers holidays and absences Run daily store duties in absence of the manager Communicating with suppliers, office/accounts staff Supervise and train staff Keeping the highest health and safety standards Requirements: xyswxtq Minimum 3 years retail/supervisor position experience Flexible hours.
Work involves working 7am-7pm flexible time, Mon-Sun basis Needs to be a good communicator Can work under high pressure Able to deal with confidential matters Strong communication skills (verbal & written) Strong organizational skills Ability to resolve conflict and negotiate with others Ability to guide, direct, and motivate employees
