As a Consulting Architect, Search at Elastic, you will deliver Elastic solutions, applying your expertise in the Elastic Stack to drive tangible value for clients. You'll conduct workshops to map out strategies, design roadmaps, and plan capacities in critical environments. Building lasting customer relationships is key, championing their needs and ensuring their voices are heard. This role is within a remote, highly distributed team. You will create proof-of-concepts that highlight the value of the Elastic Stack, accelerate the adoption of Elastic solutions, optimize queries, fine-tune clusters, and deliver fast search and analytics at scale. You'll collaborate with engineering, product management, and support teams, providing insights to shape products and services. Assessing technical aspects, identifying risks, and tailoring engagements with the sales team are also key.
What You Will Bring:
Validated experience as a Search Engineer or Search Architect with Elastic, Vector Search, and GenAI technologies. Deep understanding of E-Commerce search solutions, query development, relevancy tuning, and NLP use cases. Experience with open-source machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and a degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). Hands‑on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Lucene. Passion for open-source technology and proficiency in at least one programming language. Strong knowledge of large distributed systems and application infrastructure. Flexibility to travel occasionally for business needs.
Bonus Points:
Elastic Certified Engineer certification. Expertise in machine learning and AI. Deep understanding of Java and Linux/Unix environments. Contributing to open-source projects or documentation.
