Über
Support children's social-emotional development by using Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) techniques. Plan and lead PBIS-based activities that help children learn skills like emotional regulation, problem-solving, and positive interactions. Provide one-on-one behavioral support to children displaying challenging behaviors. Collaborate with classroom staff to develop and implement individualized behavior plans. Participate in weekly team meetings to review progress and identify new strategies to support children's success. Attend PBIS staff meetings, trainings, and monthly team meetings. Maintain confidentiality regarding children and families. Keep PBIS materials and equipment organized and inventoried. Communicate regularly with the Mental Health Manager. Serve as a positive advocate for Head Start in the community. What We're Looking For

Physical Requirements To ensure success in the classroom environment, candidates must be able to:

Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of paid experience working with preschool-aged children. Behavioral health training and/or experience preferred. Salary Description $14.99-17.52/hr based on education & experience
