IT Manager

This role serves as the sole IT support professional for a growing legal firm, owning all technology operations and serving as the internal expert on firm-wide software, compliance, and AI tools.

Provide first-line technical support to attorneys and staff for all software and technology-related issues

Serve as the internal subject matter expert for legal AI software, with emphasis on developing deep proficiency and supporting firm-wide adoption

Coordinate with external vendors and managed service providers to resolve escalated system issues

Promote consistent use of firm technology, established workflows, and software platforms across the organization

Monitor user access and system usage to ensure compliance with firm procedures and data governance standards

Deliver coaching, training, and follow-up to ensure employees are effectively utilizing required systems

Support Microsoft 365 user administration, permissions, and participate in software rollouts and upgrade initiatives

5 years of experience in technology support, IT operations, or a related role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment

Experience with Harvey AI or a comparable legal AI software

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365, as this platform is central to firm operations

Strong AI literacy with hands-on professional experience working with AI tools, not just conceptual familiarity

Comfortable serving as the sole IT resource at an organization, with full ownership of the technology environment

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills

Familiarity with HubSpot (training available for the right candidate)

Experience with Monday.com or a comparable project management platform

Background in compliance monitoring, user access management, and enforcing technology procedures

Proven ability to hold team members accountable to established processes while maintaining a collaborative and patient working style
