This role is ideal for a business-focused analyst with experience in Snowflake, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), APIs, and application modernization — not a data engineering or business intelligence professional.
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements throughout the SDLC.
Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions.
Perform impact analysis, gap analysis, and business process mapping.
Develop business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and vendors.
Support API integration initiatives, application enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.
Validate business requirements through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintain end-to-end requirements traceability.
Required Skills
Business Analysis within Application Development & Maintenance (ADM)
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
SQL and Snowflake
Talend and ETL concepts
AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
API integration requirements
Data validation, reporting, and data lineage concepts
Requirements gathering, process mapping, impact analysis, and gap analysis
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise application development projects
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar Business Analysis certification is a plus
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
