Über
Obtains pertinent medical history from patients by observation or with oral communication. Utilizes patient clinical assessment and patient clinical history in making professional judgment that supports the plan of patient care and properly documents the patient assessment and clinical history. Communicates clearly with patients of all ages, peers and others in order to complete the hospital/physician plan of patient care. Provides appropriate patient care during the correct performance of radiologic procedures. Assist the Radiologist within the technologist scope of practice as directed by the physician. Participates in student clinical competency evaluation by completing:
Weekly student evaluations. Evaluates student clinical competency by observing student clinical performance and documenting their competence.
Job Requirements Required
Graduate of program of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or a graduate of a military program accredited by JRCERT or a graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program, upon hire and Medical Radiographer: AR, upon hire and Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
Preferred
two (2) years of work experience as a Radiologic Technologist. one (1) year of experience in General /Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI and/or General Ultrasound and 2 years in general radiology, clinical experience in at least 2 of the following areas; General/Fluoroscopy, MRI, CT or Ultrasound.
