Job Summary Position: Mobile Engineer – Maintenance (Facility Engineer) Location & Shift Rockville, MD (mobile coverage). Standard business hours with on‑call availability. Compensation Estimated salary: $70,720.00 – $74,880.00 USD per year. Responsibilities Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities. Perform preventive maintenance and repair response work orders on mechanical, electrical, and installed systems. Study and operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to energy‑efficiency and safety standards. Conduct facility inspections, report conditions affecting occupancy and operations, and perform interior/exterior repairs. Use CMMS (Corrigo) for all work orders, update status in real time, and submit P‑card receipts. Maintain records of past operating experiences and anticipate necessary repairs. Be available for on‑call work and perform additional duties as required. Essential Qualifications Valid state driver’s license. Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment). Minimum four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with strong HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment expertise. Knowledge of overall system design and commercial refrigeration troubleshooting. High school diploma or GED. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CMMS (Work Order) systems. Proficient in computer applications such as Word and Excel. Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC. Benefits 401(k) plan with company matching. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
