**About the role**
Fortis Academy, part of the Shaw Education Trust, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team on a long-term, full-time basis. You will supervise classes across the school when teachers are absent, with a particular focus on supporting the Design & Technology department.
You will work closely with subject staff to deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a productive learning environment, and act as a positive role model for our students.
**What you'll be doing**
Supervising classes across the school in the absence of the class teacher Supporting and delivering pre-planned lessons, particularly within Design & Technology Maintaining a calm, focused, and positive classroom environment Building strong relationships with students and staff Contributing to the wider life of the school community
**Who we're looking for**
A graduate in Design & Technology or a closely related discipline A passion for working with young people and supporting their learning Confidence, resilience, and excellent communication skills A team player who is adaptable and proactive Commitment to the values and ethos of Fortis Academy
