As one of Lockheed Martin’s first cruise missiles, JASSM has experienced more than 20 years of successful partnership with the U.S. Air Force, providing significant long‑range, precision engagement capabilities for air‑to‑ground missions. The combat‑proven and mission‑effective weapon system is designed to destroy high‑value, well‑defended, fixed and relocatable targets from significant standoff range, keeping aircrews well out of danger from hostile air defense systems without compromise to lethality or reach.
AGM‑158B‑2 configuration adds improvements to the system, including a modernized Missile Control Unit (MCU), enhanced Software (C++) and the latest JASSM GPS Anti‑jam Receiver (JAGR).
What You Will Be Doing
Develop Embedded Software
Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications
Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions
Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software
Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls

Location This position is onsite in Orlando, Florida.
Basic Qualifications
Technology: Embedded Software
Language: C++
Multi‑core and multi‑threaded programming
Experience with object‑oriented design
OS: Linux or VxWorks
Must have interim Secret clearance to start, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen
