Senior DevOps Engineer Senior DevOps Engineer with 7+ years of experience in containerization and cloud-native platform engineering, responsible for designing and managing Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift-based platforms while modernizing Java, .NET, Python, and database applications across hybrid environments, enabling scalable, secure, and automated application delivery.
Responsibilities
Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and Open Container standards
Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for container build, scan, and deployment (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness)
Integrate Bitbucket repositories with CI/CD pipelines and implement branch-based deployment workflows
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible
Integrate container image scanning and security controls
Manage container registries (Artifactory)
Monitor and troubleshoot containerized applications
Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of container platforms
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot or similar)
Partner with application teams to containerize and modernize workloads running on WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, IIS, and other legacy platforms for deployment on standardized DevOps platforms
Experience with Datical for database change automation
Experience with Splunk query creation / dashboards
