Job Title: Senior Core Java Data Engineer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Pay Range: $65-68 on W2
What's the Job?
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based data pipelines and applications.
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize data architecture and migration strategies.
Utilize big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Hive to process large datasets efficiently.
Perform performance tuning, profiling, and memory optimization to enhance system performance.
Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
What's Needed?
9+ years of experience in Java application development, with a focus on end-to-end solutions.
Strong expertise in core Java, including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC, and profiling tools.
Experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance tuning for data-intensive applications.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, along with data integration and transformation tools.
