Position Summary The Sales Executive will thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and play a critical role in achieving company growth and revenue goals. This individual is responsible for prospecting, developing relationships, and closing new business while delivering a consultative sales experience to brokers, consultants, and employer groups. They must be comfortable making/taking dozens of calls daily, developing partner channels, presenting to groups, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Major Responsibilities
Broker distribution and development
Present and sell to consultants or employer groups of any size
Interpret, qualify, and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Maintain an updated and accurate pipeline in CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
Cold call prospects and brokers
Present solutions via virtual and in-person meetings
Leverage company-approved AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to improve efficiency and productivity
Act consultatively on all aspects of wellbeing
Become an expert in all ancillary wellness services offered and provide strategic direction for prospects and current clients
Generate new leads through broker and direct-to-end-user sales channels
Build and sustain positive relationships with the Wellness IQ staff
Collaborate with staff, management, and vendors to ensure operational efficiency
Frequent travel (overnight, multi-day, out-of-state) for broker meetings, client meetings, conferences, trainings, and other business needs
Job Requirements & Qualifications Education & Experience
College degree preferred
3+ years of sales, employee benefits, or related experience, or equivalent education and training
Comfort with cold calling and objection handling
Passion for health and wellness
Insurance brokerage experience in employee benefits preferred

Consultative selling approach with ability to uncover client needs

Comfort with cold outreach and objection handling

Professional response accuracy to client requests
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Willingness to learn Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools
Preferable Salesforce CRM experience
Proficiency in Teams, Zoom, or other virtual presentation platforms

Pay Types
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year (Remote)
Variable compensation: commission
Travel Requirement Travel may be required up to 50% of the time and may vary based on business priorities, sales opportunities, client needs, and territory demands.
Employees must maintain flexibility and availability for required travel, including occasional short-notice travel and onsite attendance as needed.
Wellness IQ will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of travel requirements whenever practicable, though advance notice may not always be possible.
