This is a 24-month contract roleoffering ahighly competitive hourly rate.
The successful candidate will act as aSubject Matter Expert (SME)in atechnical, engineering, or automation.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with thesite management teamtodevelop and implement the sites future-state strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence.
THE ROLE:
* Contribute and input into the Engineering functional strategy
* Champion operations excellence across the site.
* Plans and conducts engineering research design
* Plans and conducts significant engineering and lean initiatives
* Standardises and optimises best practices and procedures across sites
*Co-ordinates with other units vendors and senior managers as needed to ensure specific cost, time and regulatory standards are met.
* Communicates with business partners to resolve process and product issues.
* Evaluates the results of projects and provides manufacturing guidance and assistance as required REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in relevant Engineering or Science discipline (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronic, Production or technical experience equivalency.
* Minimum of 6 years manufacturing experience
* Recognised Lean qualification, ideally a black belt
* Proven Project Management skills through the delivery of business critical projects.
