Director, Segmentation

The Director of Segmentation is responsible for developing and leading Walgreens' enterprise strategy for store and customer level segmentation. This role ensures that each Walgreens store reflects the unique needs of the communities it serves by shaping localized assortment, space allocation, and merchandising strategies built from demographic, geographic, and behavioral insights. This director role is accountable for building and leading a high-performing segmentation team. This leader partners across Merchandising, Space Planning, Store Operations, Marketing, Data & Analytics, Real Estate, and Finance to translate insights into actionable strategies that enhance relevance, profitability, and customer experience. The role ensures that any added operational complexity driven by localization is balanced with financial return and strategic value. The vision for this role is for every Walgreens store to authentically represent its surrounding neighborhood, with an in-store experience that feels personalized, community aligned and grounded in data driven insights. This role is based in our Deerfield, IL office and is on-site four days a week.
