This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on employee relations and talent acquisition.
You'll work closely with leaders and employees across the business, providing practical HR guidance, supporting recruitment activity, and helping to foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted HR partner, providing advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters.
Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance matters.
Support investigations, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
Provide guidance on employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
Promote employee engagement initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.
Assist with conflict resolution and facilitate effective communication between managers and employees.
Support the delivery of end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising roles through to onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Source high-quality candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, referrals and recruitment partners.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Coordinate interviews and ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Monitor recruitment metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring performance.
Support the development, implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Assist with onboarding and induction programmes to ensure a positive employee experience.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
Support performance management, employee development and engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the HR function.
Provide general HR support as required.
Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
CIPD qualification, or working towards one, is desirable.
35 years' experience in a HR Generalist or similar HR role.
Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing casework.
Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office. xyswxtq
