- €350-€550 per day DOE Company: A leading global enterprise organisation While this is initially a contract engagement, this role holds strong potential for future opportunities or permanency within the organisation.
The Role Operating as an Employee Relations Consultant, you will act as a trusted subject matter expert for our client's EMEA operations, with a primary focus on the Republic of Ireland.
You will provide direct, expert consultation to internal HR Business Partners and line managers to ensure absolute policy compliance, risk mitigation and fair outcomes.
Based in Dublin, you will join a close-knit, collaborative local team.
While the immediate team in Ireland is small, you will work hand-in-hand with EMEA colleagues on a daily basis, offering immense regional exposure and the chance to influence a massive global footprint.
This role requires a balanced approach: you will manage standard day-to-day operational cases, but your primary value will be steering complex, high-stakes and long-term ER cases from inception to resolution.
Core Responsibilities Guide managers and HRBPs through standard ER issues, while taking ownership of the most complex, long-term and sensitive grievances, disciplinary actions, terminations, etc.
Prepare airtight documentation for external regulatory body reviews (such as the WRC) and maintain international compliance standards.
Partner closely with EMEA colleagues to ensure all actions comply with Irish and UK employment law.
Lead complex, long-term sickness and absence cases, partnering with business leaders on occupational health referrals, capability reviews, reasonable accommodations, etc.
Conduct thorough due diligence to mitigate organisational risk.
Act as a stabilising force to de-escalate and manage high-stakes, time-sensitive crisis situations following strict corporate protocols.
Design and deliver training to managers on ER trends, mitigation strategies and policy updates.
Utilise HR case management systems to provide regional analytics for leadership.
What Our Client Is Looking For The ideal candidate is calm by nature
- someone who remains unruffled in high-pressure situations, but is equally decisive and concise in their communication and decision-making.
You know how to cut through the noise and deliver clear, actionable counsel.
Required Qualifications: Direct, demonstrable experience in an ER role or managing end-to-end, complex and long-term Employee Relations cases, ideally within enterprise-scale or corporate environments.
Sound working knowledge of both Republic of Ireland and UK employment legislation.
CIPD Level 7 qualified (or CIPD Level 5 qualified and actively willing to pursue Level 7).
A track record of delivering concise, high-impact guidance to stakeholders under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications: A relevant Bachelors Degree (BA/BS).
Prior consulting or contract advisory experience in a highly matrixed or global corporate environment.
Strong technical proficiency in enterprise HRIS platforms and case management systems.
About the Contract Engagement This assignment is being offered on a professional daily contract rate basis on behalf of our client, at €350-€550 per day DOE, with potential for extension or permanency.
