Seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead multiple complex and high-impact projects supporting digital modernization, innovation, and service-delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in public-sector project management, excels at navigating complex stakeholder environments, and is a self-starter capable of driving projects with minimal oversight.
ResponsibilitiesManage concurrent, complex projects across local government departments and agencies.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, dashboards, and documentation.
Track scope, budget, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as needed.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Produce weekly and monthly status updates and KPI reports.
Monitor vendor deliverables and contract compliance.
Ensure alignment with digital transformation priorities.
Support public-facing digital engagement and modernization initiatives.
Maintain strong stakeholder communication and relationships.
Operate independently and proactively identify and resolve gaps.
Required Skills & Experience5+ years of project management experience with complex, multi-workstream projects.
Public-sector or municipal government experience required.
Strong understanding of PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, and communication plans.
Ability to work independently and drive outcomes.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, including KPI tracking.
Experience working with cross-functional and technical teams.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency with PM tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
Preferred QualificationsPMP, CAPM, CSM, or similar certifications.
Experience supporting digital transformation or modernization projects.
Experience collaborating with vendors, consultants, and multiple departments.
Familiarity with digital equity, engagement, or civic technology initiatives.
