Project Manager Solar Projects (Early-Stage)

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Project Manager.
• Strong background in financial and data analysis.
• Mechanical experience and/or interest in technical project variables.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, the energy industry, and/or solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of and work independently to manage a portfolio of assigned solar projects through the early-stage development process, preparing them for handoff to the Construction team.
• Leverage your technical, commercial, and financial knowledge to guide the team and ensure alignment with project, business unit, and corporate objectives.
• Analyze technical and financial data to identify key variables, indicators, and trends. Incorporate broader market insights into your project decisions.
• Manage all aspects of each assigned solar project, ensuring they are technically feasible, financially viable, commercially supported, and aligned to schedule.
• Support development and permitting efforts, coordinate with subject matter experts, collaborate with Engineering, and proactively resolve issues.
• Oversee the capital budget for each project, tracking variances and balancing budgets across the full portfolio.
• Contribute to the development of a construction plan and schedule, negotiate and execute commercial contracts, and identify optimization opportunities.
• Use a variety of software tools to manage data, monitor deliverables, and report on key project performance indicators.
