Description You will be a Sr. Software Engineer on our team at Lockheed Martin. What You Will Be Doing
Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications.
Task involve requirement, design, code, test, and integrate software for an embedded multi‑core system as well as desktop computer applications for emulation of sensors and countermeasures.
Successful candidate will have training in C/C++, prior experience in GUI development, and experience with Linux OS.
Basic Qualifications
BS or MS degree from an accredited university in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related major.
Experience with C++ and object‑oriented design.
Experience with software development on Linux or a similar preemptive operating system.
Experience with software configuration management systems such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, or SVN.
Ability to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start; must be a U.S. citizen.
Desired Skills
Experience with multi‑core and multi‑threaded programming.
Familiarity with Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) design concepts.
Familiarity with containerized development and deployment environments.
Familiarity with Data Distribution Service (DDS).
Familiarity with Yocto OS development.
Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Secret. A company‑sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.
Location This position is onsite in Orlando, Florida.
Work Schedule 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
