Job Summary Kelso Building Services is seeking a proven HVAC sales professional to drive new business across the Denver metro area. This is a high-accountability, field-based role focused on developing commercial service and project revenue in a competitive market.
This position is best suited for a true hunter—someone who is comfortable building a book of business from the ground up and selling into facility management, property management, and industrial clients.
What You’ll Do
Generate new revenue through cold calling, door-to-door prospecting, and territory development within the Denver market
Conduct technical site evaluations and recommend HVAC service and system solutions
Build and maintain a robust, self‑generated pipeline—this is not a lead‑driven role
Develop and present accurate, competitive proposals for service agreements and project work
Partner with internal operations teams to ensure precise scoping and successful delivery
Sell and expand preventative maintenance agreements and long‑term service contracts
Consistently hit or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Required Experience (Non‑Negotiable)
2+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical sales experience
Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and closing net‑new business
Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, service models, and project sales cycles
Ability to self‑generate opportunities without reliance on inbound leads
Comfortable selling in a competitive, relationship‑driven market like Denver
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within the territory
Preferred
Established relationships with Denver‑area facility managers, GCs, or property managers
Experience selling service agreements, retrofits, or capital equipment replacements
Familiarity with local market pricing, competition, and buying cycles

Base salary + uncapped commission (top performers earn significantly above base)
