CORE REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience in planning, designing, testing, implementing, supporting, and analyzing software programs and applications, including participation in integrated system implementations. Advanced SQL development experience across
Epic Clarity
and
Caboodle
data models, including building complex data extracts, joins, and reporting solutions. Strong knowledge of
Epic Clarity, Caboodle, and Cogito
data models with the ability to determine the appropriate data source and own the full reporting lifecycle. Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and developing scalable Business Intelligence reporting. Epic certifications in
Cogito ,
Caboodle Data Model , and
Clarity Data . Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Epic certifications in:
Cogito Tools Administration Caboodle Development for Clarity Data Caboodle Development for Non-Epic Data
Experience documenting program development, coding, testing, and system modifications. Ability to participate in risk assessments, root cause analysis, and change management processes. Experience mentoring junior team members and providing technical leadership. WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
Master's degree. Working knowledge of HL7, EDI, FTP, and interface specifications. Experience with relational databases and client-server architecture. Strong understanding of application data models and healthcare technology best practices. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, design, test, implement, support, and analyze software applications and Business Intelligence solutions. Design and develop SQL queries, data extracts, and reporting solutions utilizing Epic Clarity, Caboodle, and Cogito. Consult with business users to gather requirements, define system functionality, and develop technical solutions. Recommend technical designs, system specifications, and programming standards for new and existing applications. Develop and maintain documentation for system design, programming logic, code changes, and enhancements. Take ownership of product and implementation issue resolution. Participate in risk assessments and root cause analysis activities. Ensure adherence to organizational change management policies and procedures. Mentor junior developers and serve as a technical resource for the team. Provide technical leadership by evaluating current and future technology solutions and making recommendations to leadership. Support organizational safety initiatives and complete all required compliance activities. Perform additional duties as assigned. WHAT WE OFFER:
