The Protective Intelligence Analyst role is embedded within our client and will be responsible for identifying, researching, and assessing threats and trends impacting our client's content risk operations, strategy, and brand reputation. The ideal candidate for this position is a passionately curious intelligence practitioner who can identify threatening language, utilize OSINT and social media investigative techniques, identify trends, and can think 'outside the box' when developing solutions. Essential functions include: Monitor all-source information to proactively identify and assess threats, as well as highlight emerging trends that may impact business, productions, and talent. Conduct detailed assessments on threat actors and maintain databases. Support talent and executive protection details with accurate and timely information and alerting. Provide security/threat assessments for events. Respond to critical incidents, rapidly research, and deliver information in a clear and concise format. Conduct investigations, as needed. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, and abilities include: Knowledge of open-source, social media, and public records search techniques. Experience with threat assessment and intelligence monitoring tools and structured professional judgment guides for targeted violence risk. Strong interpersonal skills and curiosity. Clearly communicate risk to stakeholders in a concise format. Approach cases with empathy and discretion. Be aware of and work through cognitive bias that may impact assessment. Proven ability to work with highly confidential information. Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong analytic, oral, and written presentation skills to include the ability to deliver communications centered on the target audience. Advanced proficiency in web-based social media platforms, search tools, productivity applications, and communication technology. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, or a relevant field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience. Master's degree, preferred. 3+ years of relevant work experience in the protective intelligence field in a corporate setting. Foreign language proficiency a plus.
