Job Summary A National Security Geospatial Sales Representative is responsible for engaging with government and defense agencies, providing technical consultation on geospatial solutions, and collaborating on joint go‑to‑market strategies to advance national security missions. The position is primarily based in the Washington DC area.
Responsibilities Engage with National Security or Department of Defense organizations and system integrators, consult on geospatial data specifications (GIS tools, mapping standards, satellite imagery), develop and present technical solutions, coordinate joint go‑to‑market efforts, and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in geospatial technologies or related government/military domains
Proven success selling to National Security or Department of Defense organizations and system integrators
Understanding of national security geospatial requirements, satellite imagery, GIS tools, and analytics platforms
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to interact with senior leaders and technical personnel
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Sciences, Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred
Existing network within national security, defense agencies, and integrators (SAIC, Leidos, Booz Allen, etc.) and geospatial or command and control programs
Experience selling competitive geospatial products and solutions
Experience coordinating with systems integrators and channel partners on joint go‑to‑market efforts
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate autonomously within a fast‑paced, growth‑focused team
Security Clearance Active Top Secret or ability to obtain a Top‑Secret clearance.
Travel Willingness to travel up to 40% for client engagement and trade shows.
Work Environment Professional office and/or remote home office environment, subject to typical conditions.
Salary Transparency The projected annual salary range for this position is $104,700 to $150,000 (USD). Actual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements.
