Summary/Primary Role: This role will be pivotal in driving revenue and achieving sales targets in key energy efficiency retrofit applications. Working with the Director of Energy Efficiency Sales, you will be responsible for your pipeline through the entire sales process, from initial client introduction to contract signing. You will maintain and update all of your client activities in Brightcore’s CRM, providing a comprehensive view of opportunities by maturity stage and value. Regularly reviewing your sales pipeline and prospecting goals, you will collaborate with product support and analysts to develop tailored proposals that meet client expectations for financial, operational, and sustainability objectives. Additionally, you will engage with internal team members in project management and operational support to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution. Responsibilities Meet or exceed individual sales plan targets for revenue in key applications in Lighting, Motors/Drives, and general HVAC. Develop and manage your sales pipeline, starting with the initial introductions to the client through contract signature. Coordinate handoff on signed contracts with Director of Energy Efficiency Sales to the operational team. Update all client‑facing activity in Brightcore’s CRM to reflect your active opportunities by maturity stage and value to provide a weighted view of activity. Review your pipeline, client activities, and results of prospecting goals for the month. Work with Brightcore product support and analysts to tailor proposals to exceed client expectations for financial, operational, and sustainability objectives on projects. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, engineering, business administration or similar OR 4+ years of experience in a sales position. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as HubSpot. A strong desire to learn and contribute to an entrepreneurial team. Driven to focus on meeting personal business growth objectives. Understanding of key building systems and renewable energy space. Personal & professional interest in furthering a clean energy future. A successful approach to client relationship management. Expected Hours of Work An employee is expected to work a minimum of forty (40) hours per week. Nonexempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws, while exempt employees may be required to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill their job responsibilities. Salary range: $75,000‑$95,000 with a quarterly commission structure. Travel Requirements Travel up to 50% to work/project sites in the greater Northeast Region of the United States. Office setting. Work site setting. Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibility. Physical Demands Not a safety‑sensitive position. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
