Key Responsibilities
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone.
Use parts knowledge to support other NAPA team members in answering customer questions.
Deliver outstanding customer care and maintain positive interactions with every visitor.
Bring customer focus and high energy to the fast‑paced retail environment.
Welcome retail customers and engage them to ensure a positive consumer experience.
Operate technology (computer, cash register, telephone) and paper catalog system.
Required Qualifications
Valid driver’s license.
Previous experience in a parts store, automotive industry, or willingness to learn all things automotive.
High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school coursework or degree preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Thrives in fast‑paced retail environments.
Excellent listening skills and empathy for customers.
Preferred (Not required)
Background or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision.
Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
Customer‑centric mindset internally and externally.
ASE certificates.
Compensation Starting hourly rate of $17.75 with pay progression allowing reach of top end within 12 months.
