Commercial Sales Representative

The Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for growing and fostering existing relationships internally and externally to develop the commercial fleet, shuttle, bus, and van sales out of the Elgin IL Model 1 Dealership. This role focuses on business-to-business sales of commercial vehicles, upfitting, and scheduled maintenance to grow revenue and profit of the Elgin, IL Model 1 Dealership.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting Telemarketing, In Person Cold Calls, Demonstrating vehicles at the dealership and at the prospect's location.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization's products/services.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Logs all marketing activities in HubSpot customer relationship management software
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Provides pre- and post-sales support to customers
  • Collaborate with parts, service, finance and operations to support and grow the Elgin IL Location
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers.
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.
  • Outside Sales Experience preferred
  • Fleet/ commercial vehicle Industry experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license.

Pay Range

50000-120000
