To support a growing QA practice, the remote Principal QA Automation Engineer will lead a distributed team, manage automation strategies, and ensure quality standards across all products while being hands-on in coding and testing. Key Responsibilities
Directly manage a distributed team of QA automation engineers, including hiring, performance management, and career development Architect, build, and maintain automation frameworks for UI and API testing, leveraging tools such as Playwright Integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps to ensure scalability and efficiency
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Software Development in Test (SDET) roles Proven hands-on expertise with Playwright for UI and API test automation Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Java for test framework development Experience in a formal team lead or engineering management role with direct reports Bilingual in Spanish and English, with advanced proficiency in both languages
