About the Role
This is a 60-day assignment-to-hire opportunity supporting quality assurance and manufacturing operations in a semiconductor packaging environment. The QA Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring product quality throughout incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities while supporting production flow and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you will be doing: Perform visual inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished components using microscopes, magnification equipment, and inspection tools. Inspect incoming materials and identify defects such as stains, voids, plating issues, and other nonconformities. Monitor product quality throughout manufacturing operations and evaluate work-in-process components. Determine disposition of parts including acceptance, rework, recleaning, or rejection, and clearly identify areas requiring corrective action. Perform component cleaning and rework activities in accordance with established procedures. Verify kitted orders for correct components, quantities, cleanliness, and damage-free condition. Conduct sampling inspections of kitted and finished products to confirm compliance with quality standards. Accurately document inspection results and maintain traceable quality records. Operate inspection and testing equipment to verify product conformance. Package approved products for shipment following quality and handling requirements. Assist with light manufacturing duties as needed to support production schedules. Participate in quality initiatives, compliance efforts, and continuous improvement activities. About You
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to use tweezers and small tools while working under a microscope. Ability to read and follow inspection, assembly, and rework instructions. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening. Preferred Qualifications:
Previous electronics manufacturing experience. Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
