Schedule:
Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM; Night Call: 5:00 PM-8:00 AM (not every shift); 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM-7:00 AM; 5-6 days of call plus clinic per month; call ratio 1:6; minimum 3 months of locum coverage required
Job Setting:
Clinic and Call; inpatient rounding included; fast-paced, busy department; will be sole provider
Types of Cases:
General urology care in clinic and on call; Cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, Cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections; robotic procedures available but not required; 20-25 patients per day; 20-30 surgeries per month; call volume: 20% new consults, 80% established patients returning to ED
Credentialing:
Approximately 3 months; credentialing deadline is three weeks prior to provider's start date
Minimum Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible:
Board Certified (highly preferred) or Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency completion)
Certifications:
ACLS (required; will consider candidate who will obtain if selected), BLS (required; will consider candidate who will obtain if selected), DEA (required)
Licensure:
Active Washington State license (highly preferred); IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) considered; non-licensed candidates will be considered if license can be issued prior to start
